▲ The Long March 3B Rocket Ignites and Blasts Off

At 00:28 on March 10, China successfully launched the ChinaSat 6C satellite aboard the Long March 3B carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. This marked the 300th flight mission of the Long March launch vehicle series.

Since the maiden flight of the Long March 1 rocket on April 24, 1970, the first 100 launches took 37 years, the second 100 launches took 7.5 years, and the third 100 launches were completed in just over four years.
