April 24, 2022 marked the 7th China Space Day. The theme of this year is "Space Lights Up Dreams". May everyone with an aerospace dream have their wishes come true!

In 2016, the State Council approved the establishment of China Space Day on April 24 of each year starting from 2016. It was specified that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense would coordinate with relevant authorities to organize and implement related work.

On April 24, 1970, China successfully launched its first artificial Earth satellite, Dongfanghong-1, opening the prelude for the Chinese nation to explore the mysteries of the universe, peacefully utilize outer space, and benefit humanity.Designating this date as China Space Day aims to publicize China’s consistent commitment to the peaceful use of outer space, vigorously promote the aerospace spirit, popularize aerospace science knowledge, inspire the whole nation’s passion for exploration and innovation, highlight the main theme of "developing aerospace causes and building a powerful aerospace nation", and gather strong strength to realize the Chinese Dream and the Aerospace Dream.
